EMi is a self-taught photographer who got her start with a 2 megapixel Kodak point-and-shoot camera. She found her love of the medium taking photos of bands at shows when she was in college using her friends' cameras until she finally could afford her own. In August of 2010 she stumbled upon the games industry and made a name for herself as a documentarian photographer. 

Product Photography

If you’re a small business owner operating online, having a beautiful representation of your products is important for bringing in customers. High resolution photos that accurately represent the colour, quality, and nature of your item can make a huge difference! Regardless of if you’re selling books, patches, plushes, vinyl records, shirts, or beyond, EMi is here to help!

• $150 per item + cost of items shipping return (unless another agreement is reached.)

• Photos to be delivered within two weeks of receiving the item.

• Photos include shipping materials, photos of the item from multiple angles, and artistic photos. Variations on artistic presentation can be negotiated.

Portrait Photography

When you’re moving into new professional spaces, having a headshot that makes you feel accurately represented and happy can have a lot of power! Whether you need a good speaker photo, a portrait for your about page, a shoot for your latest cosplay, or something attractive for your social media profiles, EMi can work with you to help you get a photo of yourself that you’re actually happy with.

• $350 per person + cost of transportation and lodging if required.

• Photos will be delivered within one month of shoot (expedited editing is available, conditions of which to be discussed in advance)

• Includes assistance with styling. Hair and makeup must be done by the subject in advance. Multiple outfits are permitted.

• Up to two sessions included.

Nightlife Photography

A moment in time can be a powerful thing when photographed, and the good news is this is an environment EMi thrives in. Having your music event, art installation, or opening photographed by a professional can lead to a coherency in vision that otherwise can’t be achieved if left to crowd-sourcing from social media. With years of experience, EMi can make sure your party is documented with the vibrancy and energy it deserves.

• $500 for 3 hours or 3 performers (not including visualists) + cost of transportation and lodging if required.

• $150 per additional hour or performer (not including visualists.)

• 5 "quick pick" photos to be delivered within two weeks of the event. If there are performers, minimum of one of each performer (expedited editing is available, conditions of which to be discussed in advance.)

• Complete set of photos to be delivered within one month of the event (expedited editing is available, conditions of which to be discussed in advance.)

Conference Photography

EMi has spent years taking photos in professional events all over the world, resulting in a particularly refined clarity in process and vision. Her strategy includes ensuring all presenters and environments are photographed, which can provide an organization with materials that are both engaging for marketing as well as visually informative for prospective attendees.

• $1000 per 8 hour, single track day + cost of transportation and lodging if required.

• $500 per additional track with a maximum of 3 tracks.

• $150 per additional hour spent on-site

• Minimum of one photo per speaker, plus general photos of event's environment (registration set-up; event signage including sponsorship representation; event-specific installations such as arcades, art installations, selling areas, etc;) all included and additional specifics can be discussed.

Photo Archiving

aka “The EMiSpicer Experience”

A comprehensive archive of photos can be an incredibly valuable tool. While, certainly, the tagging features of modern social media features can be helpful for facilitating cultural buzz in the short-term, long-term accessibility of those images can lead to broader reach and greater influence. Creating a comprehensive space that offers not only the ability to isolate moments based on day and year, as well as providing searchability, gives both presenters and attendees the ability to revisit compelling moments long after they’ve past and allow their significance to carry weight into the future.

• $1000 per day of a photographer’s work (example: If there were 3 photographers at a single day event, the cost would be $3000.)

• Services include uploading all existing photos to Flickr, broken down by event year and day. All photos will include titles reflecting the name of the subject and the event; descriptions that include the names and links of the subject if available (ideal for performers, speakers, games), the video link of the photographed event if it exists, as well as the photographer’s credit and link; tags that include the subjects present, the event’s info, the location’s info, and the photographer’s info. Archiving of branding materials can be archived as well if desired by the client.

Head of Photography

The success of larger-scale events is dependent on delegating leadership to people you can trust. With years of management experience, EMi can both organize a team of photographers or unite a pre-existing group. By maximizing on the strengths of the members of the team, EMi can both ensure extensive documentation of an event while making sure all staff’s photography is properly showcased with accurate attribution.

• $5000 per day to manage a team of up to three photographers. Ideal for events with an attendance of greater than 1000 and/or events with four or more tracks.

• $500 per each additional photographer managed

• Archiving provided at no additional cost.
